I have been in Miami three times, two times we were traveling with kids. Two times we were staying in the Palms hotel&spa. This property is oceanfront , just 2 minutes walk from the beach. The Palms has a nice outdoor pool in a magnificent tropical gardens. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Palms Hotel since our room was complimentary updated to oceanfront view room, which was a nice gesture. So our room had an amaing ocean view! It was clean, spacious and well decorated. The atmosphere of the hotel was quiet and gorgeous. This hotel has direct access to beach with chairs, umbrellas and bar service, always enough chairs at the pool and beach. Facilities were amazing. Location is also good.
Jungle Island Miami
Jungle island is great mini “zoo”, which located not too far from Miami beach. They have many rare animals. They let you get up close and personal to many animals like the parrots, the kangaroos and even baby aligators! We also sow the rare Cassowary! The variety of Parrots they have is absolutely fabulous. They are unique, gorgeous. We also like photo service there, photos we got are fantastic, so bright and beautiful!
Everglades National Park
My visit to Everglades National Park in the middle of July was far from the best way to experience this landscape. It was very hot and humid when we were there, so I don’t recommend you to go there with little kids.
You will be able to see many wild alligators so close. Unfortunately we only sow couple of them on our way to this park. The presentation by the park rangers are very interesting and informative.
However I expected more to see. We didn’t see any alligators or birds in the park.
Bayside Marketplace Miami beach
Beautiful view of the bay. Bayside is an open air market place next door to American Airlines arena. There is many shops and many places to eat or get snacks. There is also great views of the water and Miami skyline too. You also have the options of taking a boat ride to cruise around famous mansions in the area. The cruise was amazing!
Мы путешествуем в Майами уже третий раз, два из которых мы останавливались в The Palms hotel&spa. Уютный, красивый отель прям у Атлантического океана. В отеле также имеется подогреваемый бассейн, окруженный прекрасным тропическим садом. Следуя тропинке можно попасть напрямую к океану, где для вашего удобства разложены зонтики и шезлонги. А также вы можете заказывать напитки и еду пока отдыхаете на пляже или в бассейне. К слову, на территории обитают такие чудо попугаи.. Номера отеля очень современные и дизайнерские, оснащены кофеваркой, уборка производится дважды в день. В целом отель небольшой. тихий и уютный. Вместе с тем он расположен всего в 15 минутах от South beach.Наше путешествие в Майами.
Jungle island Miami
Это небольшой зоопарк, расположенный рядом с центром Майами. Содержит много экзотических животных. Вы сможете погладить и сфотографироваться с малюткой крокодила, разноцветными большими попугаями, а так же кенгуру. Очевидный плюс что этот мин зоопарк находится близко от Майами бич и его можно быстро обойти и вместе с тем увидеть много животных и птиц.Everglades National Park
Этот парк находится довольно далеко от Майами. Мы ожидали увидеть множество тропических птиц, животных или крокодилов. В результате мы “встретили” по дорогеб прям рядом с трассой в ручейке. В парке же мы не встретили ни одного дикого обитателя… Зато посетили крокодиловую ферму, где очень хорошо рассказывали непосредственно про крокодилов. Мы даже перекусили сендвичем из крокодила:)! Я не рекомендую ехать туда с маленькими детьми, стояла невероятная жара и духотаб потому что болотистая местностью
